The capital of Peru and the culinary capital of the Americas. Most people will visit Lima at some stage during their trip as Lima airport (in the neighbouring city of Callao) is usually the port of entry or departure. However at Go Andes we believe the city deserves more than just a fleeting “transit” visit. The city has a wealth of cultural and historical sights, which can be combined with a modern and energetic fusion of eating, drinking and shopping.
Where else in the world can you visit 1500 year old ruins in the morning, lunch in an award-winning ceviche seafood restaurant, peruse historical pre-Incan museums in the afternoon, parasail high over the Pacific Ocean at sunset, before finishing the day with a shopping trip and modern dining experience in a high-tech cliff-top shopping mall. Oh, and maybe try one or two delightful Pisco Sours, the Peruvian national cocktail, before bedtime of course!
